Delete an account

You can request the deletion of your Vybia Africa account and associated data. We will process the request after verifying the account holder.

How to make the request

  1. Send an email from the address linked to the account, or provide the phone number used in the app.
  2. Add the subject line: Vybia Africa account deletion.
  3. Our team may request verification to prevent someone else from deleting your account.

Request deletion

Data normally deleted

  • Public profile, bio, city, preferences and interests.
  • Profile photos stored for the account.
  • Notification tokens and private data associated with the account.
  • Interactions not required for safety or legal obligations.

Data that may be temporarily retained

Some information may be kept for a limited period if it is necessary for safety, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, handling a report, or a legal obligation.

Processing time

We do our best to process requests quickly. A confirmation will be sent once the deletion has been completed, or if additional information is needed.
